Move Your Furniture
While you don’t have to move your furniture, you should. Your carpet cleaning crew will likely suggest that the whole carpet be cleaned rather than just around the furniture. This is entirely up to you. If you just want the high traffic areas cleaned and could care less about the carpet underneath that huge hutch you haven’t moved in decades, that’s fine.
